Privacy policy

This policy covers the LittleNest Learning app for iPhone and iPad and this website, both made by TriageDesk AI LLC (“we”). It is written for parents and teachers, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, email hello@littlenestlearning.app.

What the app keeps on your device

The app saves a small amount of information in its own storage on your device so it can pick up where it left off:

• Each child's profile: a first name or a single initial, an age range, the animal they chose, and a favorite theme.
• Progress: stars, lessons finished, the current step on the word ladder, rewards, and any small programs saved in Think & Code.
• Check-in results: which letter sounds a child picked on the first try in the Friday sound game, shown to grown-ups only.
• On a class iPad: the note a teacher picked for home and the last progress code a family shared.
• Settings: lesson length, calm mode, sound levels, and similar choices.
• Whether the one-time unlock has been purchased, so lessons open right away while the app confirms it with the iOS App Store.

None of this is sent to us. We have no servers and no way to see it. If your device backs up its apps (for example with iCloud Backup), that backup is between you and Apple and follows your device settings.

What the app does not do

• It does not ask for an email address, a phone number, a birthday, a photo, or a location.
• It does not take pictures or record audio. The narrator's voice is a set of recordings built into the app.
• It does not ask for, and does not store, any health information.
• It has no ads, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party software that reports back to anyone.
• It has no chat, no messaging, and no social features.
• It does not connect to the internet on its own. Everything a lesson needs is installed with the app. The one exception is Apple's iOS App Store, described below.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's iOS App Store and paid with your Apple ID. Apple handles the payment, Family Sharing, restores, offer codes, and refunds. We never see your name, card, email, or Apple ID. The app asks Apple only whether the unlock belongs to the Apple ID signed in on the device. Apple's handling of that request is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

LittleNest Learning is made for children ages 3 to 7 and is listed in the iOS App Store's Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and that includes children. The app is built with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in mind: no accounts, no data collection, and no third parties. Links that leave the app, such as the share link and the iOS App Store, sit behind a grown-up check.

Teacher and family codes

A teacher and a family can share progress by typing short codes, such as K7MQ-3X9P. A code carries only lesson positions, counts (lessons finished, days practiced, how many sounds a child knows), and the number of a preset note. It never carries a name, free text, or anything about health. Codes are not sent anywhere by the app: a grown-up reads one out or copies it, and another grown-up types it in.

If you email us

When you write to hello@littlenestlearning.app, we receive what you send: your email address and your message. We use it only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share it. Ask us at any time and we will delete the conversation.

This website

This site has no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking pixels. It is static pages hosted by a hosting provider, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for a short time to run and protect the service. Those logs are governed by the hosting provider's own privacy policy, and we do not use them.

Deleting information

Everything the app keeps is on your device, so you are in control. To remove one child, open the grown-up menu, choose Profiles, and delete that profile. To remove everything, delete the app. There is nothing to ask us to delete, because we never had it.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app or the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not start collecting personal information without saying so here first.
